It could mean that small teams of pioneering Christians would leave their church buildings and go where non-church-goers gather. They would build relationships, meet real needs, and slowly share about Jesus.
Rather than focusing their attention on improving worship, the sermon, or their meeting hall, the Church of Scotland hopes to train members to start new forms of Christian communities in their backyards, on hiking trails, or in their garages.
In the New Testament—and still today—the Spirit prompts a worldwide and cross-cultural vision of the kingdom of God.
For ministers, shepherds, and members of Churches of Christ jumping out of the airplane of tradition, of ties to debt, buildings, worship practices, and justice issues, is going to take a leap of faith.
As churches become more missional, our churches will attract more ethnicities, and we will start to see the nations around us that God has brought to our doorstep.

God’s answer to their seeking is to connect them to one of his believers – maybe even you. So follow up on that urge to answer someone’s questions about Jesus, or to read the Bible with them.
Consistently, Christians experience the various blessings of God, such as salvation in Christ, a loving family in his church, and physical provisions.
God may send his people to minister to a certain group or in a certain section of town that some do not want to go. He might call his people to bring a message that some don’t want to give.
Slowly, over the past several decades, church and the Christian faith have moved from the center of society to the margin of society.
